Mitsuko Ito (Violinist)
Mitsuko Ito was born in Hokkaido, Japan. Graduating from Kyoto City Universityof Arts &
Music in Japan, she continued her studies with professor Yfrah Neaman at the Guildhall
School of Music & Drama in London, where she obtained Performance Diploma. In France
she obtained "diplome de concertiste" at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris under Mr.Devy
Erlih. She performed in the Pacific Music Festival, the largest international classic music
festival in Japan, in 1993, 1997 and 2000. She served as guest musician in an Intrenational
Festival of Christmas Music in Geneva, Switzerland from 1998 for 10 years, where she
performed her compositions and arrangements. In 2010, she performed Chausson's Poeme
with Massy Opera Orchestra under Dominique Rouits in France. She performed Mendelssohn's
violin concerto with Meaux Flute Orchestra under Eric Ledeuil. Particularly since 2002 she
has given many concerts in Japan.
Tomoko Asai (Pianist)
Tomoko Asai was born in Nigata, Japan. Graduating from Tokyo University of Arts & Music in
Japan, she has been giving recitals, performing with orchestras, chamber music, accompaniment
and visiting schools, museums, hospitals, nursing facilities to communicate music. Also she
performed in New Zealand, U.S.A. and Korea. She performed many times with members of
Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, at recitals of Hokkaido Nikikai, concerts, and CD recordings.
She gives lessons at master classes. She is a member of judge of various piano competitions.
She is coordinating "JR Tower-Sky Concert". Currently, she is a part-time teacher at Sapporo
Otani University, Otani Junior College, Otani High Shool, Hokusei Girls' High Shool. She is a
member of Sapporo Musicians' Committee, Japan Educational Piano Association, Japan Chopin
Society Hokkaido Branch, Hokkaido International Music Cooperation Association, Mozart
Abend, Sapporo Chamber Opera Theater.
