PART 1

【トーク １】
【TALK 1】

皆様こんばんは。本日はお忙しい中ちえりあリサイタルにお越し
下さいまして誠にありがとうございます。
Good evening. Thank you very much for coming to this recital
at Chieria Hall.

早速合いの手が入っておりますけれども、ありがとうございます。
Thank you !

こちらのホールでのリサイタルも１０回目ということで、張り切って 選りすぐりの名曲に自作を加えたプログラムとなっております。
This Chieria Hall recital has come to it's 10th anniversary, so today's program is made of chosen masterpieces and my own compositions.

しかも今、大変張り切りすぎまして、楽屋でドレスにお茶をこぼしてしまいました。目立つで
しょうか？もう乾いたでしょうか？ちょっと冷たくて気持ちが悪いですが、頑張ります。
Being so excited, I spilt tea all over my dress in the dressing room. Can you see it?
Has it dried already? Though I'm feeling cold and awkward, I will do my best.

まず第1曲目は、グリーグ作曲のソナタ第3番でございます。グリーグはノルウェーを代表する
作曲家で、このソナタはノルウェーの強い風や海を思わせる力強い第1、第3楽章、そして
その間の第2楽章であるロマンスがこれまた大変美しいという、非常に全体的にロマンティック
な性格のソナタでして、数あるヴァイオリンソナタの中でも非常に良く出来た作品だと
思います。３つの楽章からなっております。
The first piece is the Grieg's sonata No.3. Grieg is one of Norway's most important composers and this sonata is very romantic. The 1st and 3rd movements seem to express Norway's strong wind and sea, and the 2nd movement (romance) is also very beautiful.
It is a really well written piece among many violin sonatas. Made of 3 movements.

続きましてフランスの作曲家ショーソン作曲の詩曲でございます。これは私が物心ついて
から、（というのは大学生くらいだったと思うんですけど、ちょっと遅いんですけど）最も感動
する曲でして、今では文字通り弾いても聴いても一番感動する曲でございます。理由は
分からないんですけれども何か極めて特殊な力を持った曲だと思います。
Following is the Poeme of Chausson (French composer). This piece is most touching to me since I was at university, and today it is literally the most moving piece for me to play or to listen to. I don't know why but I think this piece has some extraordinary and special power.

PART2

【トーク ２】
【TALK 2】

ありがとうございます。後半第1曲目は私の作曲致しましたレイン
ドロップス・ワルツでございます。こちらはいまだに私の代表作と
申し上げて良いかと思いますが、書かれた時のエピソードが一番
変という曲でございます。
Thank you. The first piece of the second half of this recital is
my composition, Raindrops' Waltz. This piece is still my most
important piece, and has the most strange story of its composition.

ある日の夕方部屋に戻ったら、床に水溜りが出来ている。上を見ますと何と雨漏りでございま す、この21世紀のパリで！ありえないと思うんですけれども、あったんです。
One evening, when I returned to my room, there was a pool of water on the floor ! Though this is the 21st century in Paris, my roof was nevertheless leaking !! That seems impossible but it happened.

金曜日の夕方に（私は普段パリの屋根裏部屋みたいなところに住んでおりまして、要するに 上がすぐ屋根なわけでございます）上の屋根を工事の方が金曜日の夕方にはがして、そして 時間になったからそのまま帰ってしまったんです。
I live in an attic-like room in Paris (in short, just under the roof). On Friday evening, workers stripped off the roof over my room, and left as their working time was over.

そこに目がけて大雨が降った結果、私の部屋に大変なレベルの大雨漏りが発生するという 事件が起きました。
Then it rained severely, and as a result there was extreme and violent leaking from my roof.

その時に発狂しそうになったのか発狂したのか知りませんけど、その時にありがたく出来た 曲でございます。なぜか明るいところが不思議な曲でございます。
At that very moment of madness, this piece was born with gratitude. Somehow strangely enough, this piece is quite cheerful.

続きましてラフマニノフ作曲のヴォカリーズ、そしてその次も私の作曲致しましたアネクドット
シリーズの第6番でございます。
Following is the Vocalise of Rachmaninoff, and again my composition of Anecdote No.6.

こちらは去年の9月21日に、まず新札幌の科学館にありますプラネタリウムを見て、その足で 札幌駅JRタワーの展望台から夜景を同じ日に見ました。その時両方キラキラしていたんです。プラネタリウムの星もキラキラして、夜景もキラキラと。このキラキラが重なって出来た
曲でございます。
Last year I went to a planetarium and after I went to the night view of Sapporo from "Sapporo JR Tower T38"(an observatory) in a day. Both twinkled. I was inspired by those twinkles.

札幌の夜景であんまり激しく盛り上がるのもおかしいかと思いまして、 このくらいの小さな曲にまとめてみました。
I thought it would not fit to get over excited by Sapporo's night view, so I made this small piece both modest in length and emotion.

【TALK 3】

ありがとうございます。最後の曲となりました。サラサーテ作曲の
カルメン幻想曲でございます。この曲のもとになっておりますのが、
フランスの誇るビゼー作曲のオペラ「カルメン」でございます。
Thank you. Here is the last piece of the program, Carmen Fantasy
by Sarasate. The origin of this piece is the opera Carmen by Bizet
(French composer).

このカルメンという人は道徳観念の全く無いジプシーの女の人、
でも超魅力的という人でございます。サラサーテはこのオペラから５つの場面を選びまして
材料にして、幻想曲を書きました。
Carmen is a Gypsy woman who has no sense of moral, though she is very attractive. Sarasate chose 5 scenes from this opera and wrote a fantasy.

まずオペラの最後の方の、スペインの闘牛場に向かうところの非常に華々しい場面による
序奏、そして順番にカルメンが登場してすぐに歌うかの有名なハバネラ、けんかしてつかまる
んですけれどもその時に取り調べ中に歌うふてぶてしい歌、ふてぶてしかったので牢屋に
入れられることになりますが、逃げるための色仕掛け作戦で歌う誘惑の歌、そしてまんまと
その誘惑と脱走に成功したカルメンは場面が変わりまして酒場にいて、妖しい感じで歌って
いるんですけれども、徐々に熱狂的に盛り上がって行くというジプシーの歌、以上から成って
おりまして、お聞きのようにこれだけでストーリーになっているという優れものでございます。
1)First an introduction from the brilliant scene of the square leading to the Spanish bullring. 2)Then the famous habanera which Carmen sings right after her first appearance. 3)She is arrested because of a fight and sings an impudent song. 4)As she is so impudent she is going to be put into prison, though to escape she sings an seducing song. 5)And having success in seducing and escaping, she is now in a bar and is singing a Gypsy song which grows into a gradual wild excitement. Though this is an extract it still makes an excellent story.

一番最後の部分なんですけれども、私の「来た来た」というアイディアによる編曲で、
全体的にテンポ設定も含めてよりオペラに忠実なかたちとなっております。

The very last part of this piece is my arrangement, and on the whole it is closer to the Opera, including the tempo.

それではサラサーテ作曲のカルメン幻想曲を演奏致します。

【TALK 4】

ありがとうございます。こちらのちえりあリサイタルも10年目を
迎えまして、是非皆様の何かご存知な曲を演奏したいという発想
から、じゃ一体何を皆様はご存知なのだろうかと一生懸命考えま
したところ、日本の長寿番組だったら皆様ご存知なのではないか、
でもただ長いだけではだめで、高視聴率だったら皆様ご存知なの
ではないか、という発想から、５つの高視聴率な長寿番組による
メドレーをこの日のために創ってまいりました。
気合が入っております。
Thank you. As this Chieria Hall recital has come to it's 10th
anniversary, I absolutely wanted to compose and play something
that everybody knew. After due consideration I came to an idea that I would arrange a medley around the longest running and most popular Japanese TV programs. So I arranged a medley from 5 of those TV programs.

まず第1曲目は放送歴57年（これが一番長いんですけれども）そして視聴率も１０％以上を
誇る堂々の第1位でございます。続きまして放送歴が約51年、47年、44年そして40年半、
最後の2曲はなんと視聴率が２０％近いという大変な人気番組でございます。
The first program has been broadcasted for 57 years (this is the longest) and the audience rating is more than 10％, so this is the No.1. Then the rest have been broadcasted for 51 years, 47 years, 44 years and 40 and a half years. The last 2 programs are so popular, having nearly 20％ of the audience rating.

それでは「ちえりあ伊藤光湖ヴァイオリンリサイタル10周年記念スペシャル特別番外編、
"高視聴率長寿番組メドレー"」を演奏致します。
So I interpret " Chieria Mitsuko Ito Violin Recital 10th Anniversary Special Extra : High Audienced Rating Long Life TV Program Medley".

ありがとうございました。本日は台風の真っ只中、雨の中お越し
下さっただけでなく、最後までお聴き下さいまして本当にどうも
ありがとうございました。
Thank you. Thank you for coming in the middle of typhoon today. In the rain, and also thank you for listening till the end.

このちえりあリサイタル１０年目を迎えることが出来ましたのもひとえに皆様のご支援の賜物 と深く感謝致しております。心よりお礼申し上げます。どうもありがとうございます。
It is all thanks to your support that I was able to give this 10th anniversary recital at Chieria Hall and I greatly appreciate it. I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

で今後ともどうぞよろしくお願い致します。頑張ります。

最後に皆様に感謝の気持ちを込めまして、アンドレ・クラウチ作曲のTo God be the Glory
「神に栄光あれ」、そしてスティーヴ・フライ作曲のOh the Glory of Your Presence「あなたの
臨在の栄光」という２曲の讃美歌によります編曲で（こちらは1998年に創ったもので
ございます）「グローリー・メドレー」という曲を演奏させていただきます。
Finally with gratitude, I interpret "Glory Medley", which is my arrangement of two hymns (To God be the Glory by Andrae Crouch, and Oh the Glory of Your Presence by Steve Fry), arranged in 1998.
